| 글로 쓰인 언어는 지독하게 수준이 낮은 기술처럼 보인다. 글자는 적어도 고대 그리스인들이 알파벳을 창안한 이후 수천 년 동안 거의 변함이 없었다. 초고속으로 발전하는 트위터가 창궐하는 시대에는 알파벳의 영속성에 의문이 든다. 이 시대는 알파벳을 움켜쥐고 흔든 다음 "너의 시대는 끝났어. 젠장, 무대에서 꺼져버려!" 라고 말하고 싶을 것이다.
